This class is designed for anyone who wants to improve their sense of humor, learn how to write and perform humorous material, and discover the tools that will make your witticisms work, every time. Whether you’re looking to spice up the posts on your socials, inject levity into your writing, or just be the funniest person in the district, this class is for you.
Explore the creative and hilarious work of our students from January-February 2025 cohort. For their final projects, every student selected a medium of their choice -- but they were discouraged from choosing standup/sketch and other traditional "comedy" genres. As a result, there is a lot of variety here. Students made videos, wrote short fiction, created physical objects, wrote legal contracts, and planned dinner parties. A few students opted for live performance, so there is no record of their work on here as of now. The only requirement was that humor had to be involved, at least to some extent.
